The Story:
This is a lovely example of the gentler side of William Charles’s picture book art. Charles published a series of works including My Mother, My Father, My Daughter, My Son, and My Pony, the only title about a pet. The book with its intaglio printed pages, shows the harmonious relationship between a beloved pet and his young master.
