The Story:
This well-used Pennsylvania almanac is an example of a publication carefully listed by Haven on his slips. He typically listed all almanacs for the same year on a single slip. Titan Leeds began printing almanacs in 1714, and in the 1730s competed with Benjamin Franklin’s, Poor Richard’s Almanack, for readers.
