The Story:
AAS has launched a new initiative which would have impressed Clarence S. Brigham: a searchable online database listing more than two million newspaper issues. The database solves the previously intractable problem of determining which precise issues the Society holds. A search for a title retrieves an easily read listing of AAS holdings displayed in calendar form. The project has been funded in part by support from the Center for Research Libraries.
