Introductory Gallery

The exhibition in our introductory gallery, located adjacent to the reading room, showcases the breadth and diversity within the collections. The Society has in recent years intensified its commitment to confront systemic inequity, racism, and marginalization as described in the Society's inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility statement. Free public tours, given every Wednesday at 3:00 pm, begin in this gallery.
